Cashback

Cashback returns a share of what you lost over a period — typically 5 to 15 %, weekly or monthly. It is the most honest bonus, because it cannot be worth more than you actually lost.

Why it is worth more than it looks

Cashback often comes with low or no wagering, unlike a welcome bonus. 10 % cashback with no wagering is worth more than a 100 % welcome bonus at 40x, because you can actually withdraw it.

The small print

Cashback is usually calculated on net losses, not total stakes. Win €100 then lose €150 and the cashback applies to €50. Some operators also exclude live tables from the calculation — the terms say which.
